I got a notice in the mail 2 days ago saying that I was past due on my car insurance bill and that I had to pay a late fee and if it wasn’t paid within 10 days my policy would be terminated. I couldn’t help but be confused and a bit mad about it. I had sent my check two and a half weeks earlier than the due date (3/4/04). I had also noticed that it hadn’t cleared the bank but I figured since it was a new policy that it would take awhile to process. I called the company yesterday and they told me they would get back to me and never did. This morning while checking my bank account I noticed that the check had cleared. Interesting huh? I’m just glad that they got their money. I hope they don’t expect me to have to pay a late fee. We shall see…
