It’s the last day of the month. On Tuesday the trip seemed so far from over and tonight I am realizing how soon it will be over. Three more days til we travel home. We’ve made so many friends here. It will be sad to leave them behind. I want to just pack them all up and take them home with me. We (Justin and I) went with Kiki today to deliver invitations not too far from the hotel. We went to the store and bought some food for lunch (junk food, bread, meat, sprite, and ice cream of course). Then Justin, Jeremy, and Matt went to the University to talk about “life in America” to some English learning students. They had a great time. (Justin just reminded me that while out with invitations we got attacked by dogs). The ladies went to Vica’s baby shower and the others just went out on their own.
It was so nice at Vica and Genady’s. There home is so small yet so warm and welcoming. Vica cooked us a feast with tea and dessert too. It will be her bday on Saturday. We talked and joked for a long time and the language barrier didn’t seem to matter. Then Genady and Marina took us back to the hotel and we all went to room 1828 and had a recap of our nights. We laughed hard.
Now it’s 12:20am and we have to get up and be ready by 8:40am to get to the church for our last day of invitations.
