We made it…

Today is our (mine and Justin’s) four year wedding anniversary. I know people say stuff like this all the time but I really can’t see where all the time went.  And to think we have known each other for almost 7 years is amazing to me too.  I couldn’t pick a better husband or friend.  We have been through a lot together, especially recently with the giant move to Indiana and we have stayed side by side all the way.  I love this guy!  He is willing to do anything for me even if it means sacrificing something that he wants or has.  I thank God everyday for him.  I just hope I get to celebrate many more anniversaries with him.  I love you @wantmoore! (don’t want to get too mushy and make my viewers gag hehe)

And a great big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Jason Powell today.  Hope it’s a good one!

Single Mom

Well, it seems as if I’m a single mom for the week. Justin has gone to Kansas City for Church IT Roundtable. But…that’s okay, I’m leaving for a trip to Raleigh (not nearly as exciting of a travel) at the end of the month for a few days to go to a CSANC conference with Cary and Brooke for the Campus Shop. We get to stay in the Hilton (niiiiicee! or so I’m hoping). I miss Justin but luckily my schedule has kept me quite busy. I had a WMU meeting last night. Tonight is church and choir til about 8:45pm and Thursday is homework, homework, homework. Java has been a good guard dog though, I always feel comfortable when she is on duty hehe.

In other news…Melissa had her baby! Her name is Chloe and she was 6.5 pounds and 19.5 inches long. I can’t wait to see them in person but the picture I saw was adorable. Congrats Mommy Melissa. I love you!

Ohmylanta!

I am living a life like on TV.

Today when I got home Justin was there to greet me. He walked outside but I didn’t see Java anywhere. I asked him where she was and he said inside. Then he put his arm around me and said he had to tell me something. I could just feel how nervous he was. He quickly told me it was good but I was still nervous. Then I thought, why wouldn’t Java be at the door at least? I really thought he had gotten us a lab puppy. Then he sat me on the couch when we got inside. No Java, no puppy. He handed me an envelope and I took the paper from it and it was a picture of the bridge in Charleston and a hotel logo. I quickly laughed and said what’s this? and he said, “We are going to Charleston first thing in the morning now pack your bags.” I quickly laughed again and said, “I can’t, I have to work tomorrow and it’s graduation weekend so I have to work Saturday and late Friday.” Then he responded with a, “No you don’t, already taken care of.” He has been plotting this surprise for weeks and has had plenty of people involved including the most awesome Cary Caldwell! So now I’m doing laundry and packing for a very much unexpected yet very needed vacation to CHARLESTON! I love this man! He is so awesome! Don’t pinch me, I’m lovin this dream.

Happy Birthday Justin!

Hey Everybody! Today is my husband, Justin’s Birthday. Honey, I love you and I hope that you have a fantastic day. In honor of your birthday I will give you the next two days off of work 😉 I love you!
