Pics

I’m thinking that it’s been way too long since Justin has added new pics to his site. I’m wondering if you agree? If you do, leave a comment to help encourage him hehehe

Java

Yesterday when Justin and I got home from church, we saw that our neighbor was down in the creek in his back yard burning some brush.  We saw that Buttercup was out playing and Java (has now learned to jump up at the kitchen window and look outside) spotted her from the kitchen so we let her outside and decided to stay in the kitchen to watch them play.  We didn’t think she would notice Roy in the creek but we were very wrong.  She and Buttercup went zooming to the creek.  Roy said that Java went over the steepest part of the bank and then went for the water.  It was a good time.  The dogs love playing with each other. Java loved the water (she used to be terrified of it).  She even brought Justin a 6 foot branch from the water.  I can’t wait til we can get our part of the backyard to look like Roy’s so Java can play more.

“At First Sight”

Ok, so I finished the book last night. I must say I did not like the way it ended. Well, the very end was good but just at the last chapter or two I was like “no!” Thanks Stacey for letting me borrow it so long.  Now I’m ready for the next one hehe.  I hope he hurries up.

Invite

Yesterday Justin and I were invited to our friends’ Jack and Cary’s house for supper.  They grilled turkey and regular burgers.  mmmmm! We had a great time! It was the first time in forever we had an evening out as couples.  Jack’s friend Will was there too. He is cool! We all just sat and talked and the time went by quickly.  Too bad we are all old haha. We were ready for bed by 9:30pm.  Here’s to doing it again sometime 🙂

Church Pagers

Our church has agreed (at our last Business Conference) to purchasing a pager system for our nursery.  This would allow each set of parents to drop off a kid and take a pager to the sanctuary.  If someone in the nursery needs help from the parents they can just page them without disturbing the service.  I think it’s a great idea.  I’m hoping they will purchase enough pagers to do the childrens’ church group too. That would be excellent leverage against the children. hehehe hahaha  Oh and in order to keep the pagers from disappearing…parents will use the pagers in order to pick up their children.  No pager, no child 😉 haha Well sorta, I know some would love to leave their child.  It would replace the number system we have now.   What do you guys think?  Good idea? or Bad idea?
