Holy Moly!

A few months back I watched a special on TLC about a family that had 14 children and one on the way. It was telling of their life and how they handle so many children. It was strange yet quite interesting. Today, while looking at my normal news sites I found this article talking about the same family. They just had baby #16 and still were ready to have more. Their new house is huge but they will need all the space as they continue to grow their own town. I just thought you might find it interesting.

Good Prognosis

We found out that Java has…um….how to spell it…disconjunctivitis…yeah…something like that, in her eye. Dr. Dino as many call him, gave us drops to put in her eye 3 times a day. Luckily he said there were no scratches on her cornea. It was cool how he was able to tell that. He took some dye and put it in her eye and then flashed his light on her eye to look for the dye to fill in any scratches. Another cool thing is that he didn’t charge us for the office visit. He just charged us for the drops and for some more heartworm pills. Boy did that save our wallet. I’m hoping her eye will be better by the weekend so we can try taking her swimming again.

Poor Baby :(

Well, Java seems to slowly be passing the collar but yesterday after work we noticed that her right eye is infected. Poor thing, I just wanted to make it all better for her. She looked miserable yet in her own Java way was trying to be happy and make her parents proud. Today we have an appointment to see Dr. Nicopoulus at 3pm for him to check her out. Pray that she can be healed quickly and that we won’t have to take out a second mortgage after getting the bill hehe.

new one…

Yesterday when I got home from work I was getting Java to let her go out and noticed she wasn’t wearing her collar. I looked in her crate and all I saw was the plastic clasp and the leash ring. Yes…Java ate her collar! I was worried like any dog mom would be but she has been acting like normal and eating, drinking, and even pooping. We have yet to see anything red come out but hope this afternoon it will all be better. I called the vet this morning and he said “not another foreign body in your pet.” He remembers us well from when Pixel had to have his surgery to remove some plastic from his intestines. Let’s hope that Java can pass the fabric and won’t have to have surgery. Mom and Dad’s wallet isn’t that big.

The Critic…

I guess I don’t have that many Boo’s because I don’t watch what makes me say Boo hehe

Happy Anniversary :)

Yep, you’ve guessed it, today it our very 1st Anniversary. It has been a really good day! Church was awesome! When we left I really felt as if we had all truly worshipped. We went to Fatz for lunch to celebrate and then back to church for the night service and Marissa’s baby shower. I really can’t believe this first year has gone so fast. It makes me think about the next years at how much faster they will go by. I will try not to be mushy because I know Justin doesn’t really like it but he is so special to me. I’m so glad God thought I was worthy enough to have him in my life. I love him so much! I look forward to each new day I get to spend with him. Happy Anniversary Honey!

Two very special occasions

This weekend marks two special events. First my cute little nephew will be 1 month old. Can you believe it’s been that long already? The second is that Sunday marks our 1 year anniversary. That too doesn’t seem like it’s been that long since our wedding. Hopefully we will be able to take a trip to see the little man on Monday.

So this weekend when you are going about your days just know it’s an awesome time 🙂

Today’s Verse

James 1:2-4
Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.

Crosswalk has some great verses everyday to read and study. I thought today’s was especially good for everyone to hear.
