Happy Birthday to Brooke!

I just wanted to shout out another happy birthday wish to Brooke Luckadoo from the Campus Shop. I hope you have a great birthday (even though you have to work).

Happy Anniversary and Happy Birthday

Today is Jack and Cary’s Anniversary. I wish you both another love-filled year of happiness. Enjoy the beach! (lucky dawgs)

Today is also my friend Greg’s Birthday. I haven’t seen him in awhile but I’m sure this birthday will be awesome with his wife Shilpa by his side. Miss you!

Single Mom

Well, it seems as if I’m a single mom for the week. Justin has gone to Kansas City for Church IT Roundtable. But…that’s okay, I’m leaving for a trip to Raleigh (not nearly as exciting of a travel) at the end of the month for a few days to go to a CSANC conference with Cary and Brooke for the Campus Shop. We get to stay in the Hilton (niiiiicee! or so I’m hoping). I miss Justin but luckily my schedule has kept me quite busy. I had a WMU meeting last night. Tonight is church and choir til about 8:45pm and Thursday is homework, homework, homework. Java has been a good guard dog though, I always feel comfortable when she is on duty hehe.

In other news…Melissa had her baby! Her name is Chloe and she was 6.5 pounds and 19.5 inches long. I can’t wait to see them in person but the picture I saw was adorable. Congrats Mommy Melissa. I love you!

Happy Day!

I wanted to wish everyone a very happy labor day (even though I have to work). I would also like to shout out two birthday wishes today. One for Matt London and one for Brandon Jaynes. Happy Birthday guys! I hope you enjoy it!

Happy Belated Birthday to Meagan Jaynes

Happy Late Birthday to Meagan! I hope you got my comment yesterday. I had the right day yesterday but neglected to post it online here for all to see. I hope you had a great birthday!

The small hole in the lid of trash can approach

Okay, does anyone else find it really “brilliant” that the new stylish approach to trash bins is a small hole at the top to place trash into? I say people have a hard enough time trying to get trash in a wide open hole. They’d rather just leave it on the tables or throw it aside. I really don’t think a SMALLER hole is going to encourage more trash pick up. I say this because in the bottom of the DCC here there is a tall, skinny trash can with a tiny hole on top. The trash can is too small for such a high traffic area and they just put new carpet down. The can is constantly overflowing with trash and liquids are already beginning to stain the carpet from trash all over the floor. Just…”brilliant” I tell you haha.
